We specialise in pensions and investments, especially helping people to retire. As the company grows, we are updating our processes and procedures, so you'll need to be comfortable with changing the way you work as required.
the role

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Deal effectively with queries from clients and other parties

• Answer overflow calls & log communications

• To liaise with clients and arrange appointments with financial advisers

• Preparing Valuation packs, including performance valuation/ charges reports to be given to clients in review meetings

• To process client files after meetings and ensure that meeting notes are typed up.

• To ensure that activities are set up from tasks outlined in meeting notes and passing to relevant members of staff

• To ensure that all documentation required for clients are saved in IO and kept up to date e.g. fact find, Risk, ID etc.

• To ensure that fact finds are typed up and that all information is correct and up to date, by liaising with the adviser

• To support paraplanners/advisers by submitting any new business, including chasing new business and resolving any issues

• Processing of fund switches, withdrawals and top up business

• To support the admin function with any other tasks as necessary

• To process estate planning Trusts & maintain log  

• To process Wills & arrange storage

• To process & support clients with Power of Attorney for Health & Financials

IT Skills

• Fully competent in desktop applications (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)

• Intelliflo is our back office system – experience preferred but not essential – training offered.

• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and to deal with individuals at all levels

• Team working: Ability to contribute as part of a team, and deal with individuals at all levels within the business

£28,000 (Based on Experience)

Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

28 days holiday, plus bank holidays.

The Company will cover the cost of exams / training for individuals that wish to complete their exams – internal progression available and encouraged.

qualifications & experience

• Financial Services Experience necessary – Specific experience in providing Administration support for an IFA

• Financial Planning qualification are not essential, but preferred.
